DTC!

I can officially announce that we are DTC! (DOSSIER TO CHINA). Our paperwork is complete. I talked with our agency yesterday. Everything looks good. They are sending our dossier to Fed Ex today. She also told me, that she thinks it won't be long until we receive a referral. She hopes within the next few months we'll know who our son is. Of course, I'll announce it here, when we do get the call.

We received the official tracking email from our agency. Here is the info. I love it!

Dossier Compete!

I can finally say it. Our Dossier is Complete! We received the final pages today from Houston. I was busy this afternoon organizing them all, and double checking everything. It's ready to send to our agency. I'm so happy and relieved to be done. A lot of work goes into this. It feels good to be done.

Now we sit and wait for a referral call. We don't know when we'll get the call. It could be next month, or in 6 months. We just don't now. God knows. And his timing is perfect.

New Photo

Today I woke up to 8 new photos of Billy. This is one of them. I love seeing him happy. I know that whenever he is with Sarah, that he is happy. This photo was taken on May 16th during the Bring Me Hope Night walk.

This is the first time I've seen or read an update about him and I did not cry all day. It's been hard for me to get to this point. I'm just happy knowing that he is doing well. I'm still praying every day that he does find a good loving, caring, Christian family.

A friend of mine is going to camp. And I've connected her with Sarah. They have been emailing. They might be at camp the same week, AND Billy might be able to be there too. I'm so excited. I can not wait to see what God has planned.

I'm not going to password any more post about him anymore, since we are not able to adopt him. I consider him a friend now, so no need to password protect.

Please keep him in your prayers. We really appreciate it.

Almost Done...

So, today no package from Houston. :-(

So I just tracked our package back to us (from Houston) and it was mailed yesterday and on it's way back to us. We should have it on Monday or Tuesday. Praying hard everything is authenticated.

If we can send it off to AWAA this week, most likely we'll be DTC next week. I'm not sure, but I think they still have the policy that a dossier needs to be in their office by the Wed of the week in order to be DTC. If we get it Monday, AWAA won't get it till Thursday. So that would mean we would be DTC around July 3rd. I'll keep you updated!

Just so glad to see Houston has mailed it back to us!

Names

Who would have thought choosing a boy's name would be so hard? Girls names (for me) are so easy to pick & like. Boys names, not so easy. It seems the names I like, I know someone with that name. I like having the "not so popular" names.

Bill likes Aiden. I like it too. BUT, it rhymes with Jadyn and I would prefer not doing that. :-) We've thought of Noah, Isaac, Jacob etc. Just does not click for us.

My favorite is Caleb. Has been ever since we were pregnant with Tiff. If she would have been a boy, she would have been Joshua Caleb. Well, Caleb is popular. There are a few boys under 2 at church named Caleb. And because I want to have a "unique" name, Caleb is not too unique. BUT, I really do like this name. We know way too many Joshua's so we will not be using that name.

Bill told me the other day lets stick with Caleb since I like it so much. I'm just not sure yet. Maybe once I see our son's face, then choosing a name will be easier.

I would love to hear some suggestions for boys names. We will not be naming him after Bill. We decided 14 years ago we would not name our son after Bill. Bill is the third and he did not want to have the fourth. :-)

So if you have any cool, unique names, I would love to hear them.

Final Week, I hope

Our final pages of our dossier is in Houston getting Authenticated. This could take up to 6 business days. Once they are finished (there are only 3 pages that need authentication) then the consulate will send it back to us. Once we know everything is in order, we will send our completed dossier off to America World. We're almost finished! I'm ready for all of the paperwork to be out of my hands. I'm praying that in 2 weeks, I can say we're DTC.
